I don't think I'll ever do a good job at keeping my blog up now! I'm putting too much on my plate at the moment and it's beginning to show... lack of sleep is keeping me from doing all that I NEED to get done. So, I will try to get back in to blogging.. have much to catch up on, so don't give up on me yet.

Time, where have you gone?

Can't believe how incredibly busy I've been! I have more Easter pics to upload, but that will have to wait a few more days. Getting ready for a huge yard sale on Sat. morning while simultaneously baking a cake and cupcakes for a birthday party Sat. afternoon. Yes, I'm INSANE. Once I get past this weekend, it will only get slightly better, as I have another cake the following weekend and then 2 weekends from then, a birthday cake for Cousin M!!! Then after that, we wrap up preschool in the mornings and then have our BIG trip to Jackson, MS to celebrate Kevin's grandmother's 80th birthday!! I'm tired just thinking of all this!!

Then, last Friday, I worked about 3 hours on a file for getting things ready for my afternoon job. Right about 6:02 pm, as I was about to wrap it up and leave to come home, my computer decided to eat all my work! I had saved it all along, but I couldn't access it anymore. This was a nightmare, since time is precious at my 2nd job to get anything done in the first place. Thankfully though, on Tuesday, our computer guy somehow retrieved it after about 2 hours of searching for it on my computer and the church's network. I was incredibly grateful! But, since then, haven't been able to get back to it, cause that's how crazy busy that job is right now! I know it will get better, but I'm pretty exhausted at the moment.

Will hopefully update more in the near future!!! Oh, and the picture of Stone below this post, the one taken on Easter morning, was taken at my parent's house in WV. I had meant to post that along with the pic, but I guess I got too tired or thought I'd get back to it before now. Anyway, we did enjoy a quick trip to see them over Easter weekend. More pics to follow....

Cousin Fun

Stone got to do 3 Easter Egg hunts this year... here's a pic from the one from our preschool... the rest of the shots I got weren't that good actually... my camera is too slow and therefore the pics I got are of his backside!! Ha ha... so, here's the one good shot..


On to cousin fun... Gini, M and W came up this past week for a visit since it was their Spring Break from school. We always love visits from the cousins!!! (And Gini too, of course!)






We even got to do our own mini-Easter egg hunt with M and Stone....

Palm Sunday

Seems like I'm always behind in posting, but such is life right now. This picture was taken the week leading up to Palm Sunday... it's me and the kids I teach in the morning at preschool. I think our director took about 10 pictures and this was about the best... it is hard, after all, to get all 4 of my kids to smile and look at the camera at the same time! Ha ha ha... typical 4-5 year olds!



And on to Palm Sunday. We had a wonderful day at worship, relaxing afternoon and then fun in the early evening. Below is a picture of Stone "shaving" with K's electric razor... he's so funny right now cause he's in "monkey see, monkey do" phase and I guess has been for quite a while when it comes to Kevin. So, when Kevin was shaving Sunday morning getting ready for church, so Stone had to as well!

After lunch and a nap, we got out and enjoyed the wonderful weather that day. We got out the bubbles and took a walk.

We then came back and colored eggs. This is our fist time doing this with Stone, as even last year, we didn't think he'd quite get into it. He pretty much enjoyed dyeing the eggs and putting stickers on afterwards. See the final product below...

The FIREMAN is back!!! The fireman jacket he got for his birthday last October hasn't been out much since it got really cold and rainy. However, he discovered it again. This time though, he has some really COOL rain boots that are "fireman" boots to go along with his outfit. The cool rain boots came via Gigi and a great find at a consignment store.... now he is complete! Thanks Gigi!

"Happy Valentine's Day" Oh yeah, this cupcake and sucker are YUMMY!!! This picture was taken from his preschool teacher who sent it along to me. Too cute, I might add!! ha ha ha ha....

And let's see.... updating my life right now with something interesting would be a challenge. However, I have no complaints, as I'm actually thankful to live a boring life for the moment! Since getting/feeling better from the sinus infection, I made a trip to the foot doctor. I have had this horrible pain in my left foot for several months now. Don't ask why I haven't gone before now, cause I have no answer. Just didn't. But, after talking with my dad and another friend about similar foot pain, I came to the conclusion that it was probably p*lantar f*ascitis and wouldn't heal or get better until taking further action. So, I went and sure enough, that's what I had. I got a cortizone shot in my foot that day, an x-ray, some home treatments such as stretching and icing it and I need to go in search for a good (and most likely expensive) pair of shoes that will give the proper support. The good news is that since it is treatable, the pain can and will go away. I am thankful I went, and again, have no idea why I waited so long.

I guess another thing that has been on my heart has been this... at my new job in the afternoons, where I'm a director, I have come to the conclusion that I will probably end up firing one of the staff before summer hits. This is hard, even though I really feel it is the right thing to do. I keep praying for the decision to be the right one and for wisdom... this is something necessary that is the worst part of the job!! (That and dealing with delinquent parents). So, please pray for me as I go into the next few weeks.. pray that my heart is prepared as Jesus would have it be and that I am making the right/best decision for the program and everyone involved.

Oh, and please pray for my hubs as he now has the crud. Seems like we all can't get/stay well at the same time!
